For the Final 3 performance round of 5-13-08 the idols will sing 3 songs. One of the songs will be the contestants own song choice, one will be chosen from one of the judges and the third song will be chosen from the producers.

David Cook has chosen and will perform “The World I Know” by Collective Soul as his song choice. Judge Simon Cowell picked the song for David Cook and it is “First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” by Roberta Flack.
